Signal and Control Harnesses
Open Bundle Harnesses
Open bundle harnesses are the wiring harness of choice of the world's leading airlines. This type of harness is inherently easier to maintain because the wires, connectors and backshells are not covered by any external covering or coating. Unison open bundle harnesses are used in engines, engine nacelles, and inside aircraft hulls.

Closed Bundle Harnesses
Closed bundle harnesses are the wiring harness of choice for installations in hostile environments. These harnesses use a variety of different materials such as Nomex, PEEK, nylon and metal braiding to cover the bundles of wires inside. This added protection makes the harnesses more durable at the cost of being harder to service. Closed bundle harnesses are used in a number of applications including turbine engine hot sections, military applications and industrial applications.

Overmold Harnesses
Overmold wiring harnesses are generally either open bundle or closed bundle harnesses that have molded joints to prevent separation or fatigue. These joints are molded over the wiring harness to provide an added measure of strength without significantly increasing cost. Overmold harnesses are used in many applications such as aircraft wiring, engine harnesses and industrial applications.

Landing Gear
Unison Industries' wiring harnesses are installed in landing gear systems on aircraft to transmit signals from the landing gear position switches to the onboard flight computers. These harnesses are used on commercial and general aviation aircraft.
