World Class Engineering & Design
Unison has a large, experienced engineering team that utilizes the latest design tools and software including CATIA V4/V5, Unigraphics, Solidworks, Vismockup, Team Center UG NX2, PADS, and iMAN. Our in-house test capabilities include acoustical, electrical, environmental, mechanical and EMI.
Unison’s 2010 R&D spend was over $23 million. We continue to invest in technologies to improve existing products as well as develop new products that solve some of our customers’ toughest challenges. Development areas include thermal management, distributive controls, embedded electronics - including high temperature electronics, active clearance control, and prognostics/diagnostics.
As an integrator, we can offer engine and airframe manufacturers the convenience of turning to one supplier for all their turbine engine controls and accessories needs. In addition to providing a broad range of Unison products and systems, we can integrate systems and components with those of other world-class suppliers to create complete solutions for our customers.
