Brad Mottier Named Vice President & General Manager of GE Aviation, Engine Services
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, AUGUST 2, 2005--
Bradley D. Mottier, currently President of Unison Industries, LLC, a wholly owned GE subsidiary, will become Vice President & General Manager of the Services business within General Electric Company's GE Transportation, Aircraft Engines. Brad joined Unison in 1980 and has held management positions of increasing responsibility in Engineering, Marketing and Product Development. He was appointed Unison's President in April 2002 when GE acquired Unison Industries. It is anticipated that Brad will transition into his new role in September, 2005.
Christina M. Alvord has been named President of Unison Industries, LLC, reporting to Brad Mottier in his new role. Christy, currently the General Manager at Middle River Aircraft (MRA) Systems, has held that role for the past two years. Christy joined GE in 2001 as a Manager in the Corporate Initiatives Group. Previously, she worked for McKinsey & Company and High Tech Labs, MBA Enterprise Corps. It anticipated that Christy will transition into her new role in September, 2005.
MRA Systems designs, manufactures and services complex aerostructures, including engine thrust reversers and related components, for commercial and military aircraft. MRA Systems, Inc. is a subsidiary of General Electric.
