Unison will exhibit its latest technologies and products at the aviation industry’s premier trade show of the year - the 49th International Paris Air Show, June 20 – 26 at Le Bourget. More than 2000 exhibitors and over 100,000 attendees are expected at the event this year. If you are attending this year’s event, we welcome you to stop by our stand, which is located at A82, in Hall 3, to learn more about our capabilities, the latest technologies we are advancing, and look over the broad range of products that we will have on display.
For 2011, Unison’s exhibit builds on and improves upon the 2010 Farnborough Air show exhibit, which received numerous accolades from industry insiders, educators, and general public visitors. Organized by engine module and showcasing “Excellence from intake to exhaust”, it is easy to visualize an engine, understand the functions of each module, and physically see our parts and where they are located. New to this year’s display include a GE90 Dual Annular Combustor (DAC) Fuel Manifold Segment, a GEnx Low pressure turbine Active Clearance Control (ACC) Cooling Panel, and a CF34-10A Surface Cooler. Unison’s new Surface Cooler, which is lighter in weight and designed to reduce drag – both of which contribute to reduced fuel consumption, enters service on the GEnx-1B, powering the Boeing 787.
The Paris Air Show, the first of which dates back to 1909, has been the venue for many new product introductions as well as the signing of many large and notable contracts. The display of aircraft, both commercial and military, on the ground and in the air, is unmatched. The exhibit halls are packed with displays by nearly every major aviation industry company. Customers, competitors, suppliers – everyone is there. Unison has a longstanding tradition of being well represented at the show, and this year is no different.
